Boston, MA - On January 28, the Boston Globe announced the winners of its 2007 "Best of the New" awards. Among the ranks of the "Best of the New: People and Ideas" was 20-year-old Allan Sahagun who, in May of 2006, launched Alumwire (www.alumwire.com) with his brother Aaron. Allan's name was first on a list that includes a Pulitzer Prize winner, a medical breakthrough in stem-cell research, and the running back for the New England Patriots.
